PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT

We understand that many of you are eager to see improvements to the playground equipment itself. Please be assured that this remains a top priority. The structures condemned on health & safety grounds were removed and smaller equipment has been subject to minor repairs required in order to allow us to re-open the playground. The cost of replacing and adding new equipment exceeds £70,000 and would result in an increase of nearly £120 service charge per property. A number of different grant applications are currently underway to try to secure funding towards the replacement and enhancement of the equipment. We are committed to delivering a safe, fun, and inclusive space for all children in our community.
